Job Description

As an Analytics Manager, you'll work closely with Product Owners and the entire Quad to deliver analytics & insights to drive strategies and critical business decisions. Your responsibilities will include understanding business needs and how analytics can identify opportunities & solutions, writing complex queries to pull data form large SQL and AWS database platforms across multiple LOBs, analyzing that data to identify key insights, communicating those insights, and partnering with the quad to translate those insights into measurable actions.

Candidate will combine their data & analytics skills, business knowledge, collaboration, leadership & communication skills to develop & deliver insights that identify and address customer opportunities and business strategies for the Loyalty team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Establish and foster partnerships across the organization to understand business requirements and objectives
  • Create & execute solutions to pull and combine data from multiple sources for analysis and reporting
  • Analyze data from a variety of sources and identify key insights
  • Communicate insights to senior leaders via written and oral presentations
  • Collaborate with analytic and non-analytic groups as well as facilitate holistic, cross-functional learning
  • Work with a team of analysts that supports Loyalty Product Owners
  • Champion data and analytics best practices across the Loyalty organization
  • Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions
  • Facilitate the creation of data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in related and applicable data analytics functions
  • Previous experience leading projects
  • Intermediate experience with Adobe Analytics
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL or Python; will do queries to extract information
  • Adept at explaining and converting complex concepts into digestible information to be consumed by audiences of varying levels of expertise
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in critical thinking and problem solving
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong collaboration and partnership management skills
  • Functional industry knowledge for financial services &/or loyalty

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • MS Degree in a related discipline
  • Alteryx, Tableau and Snowflake are a plus
  • Functional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology or finance
  • Intermediate knowledge of Machine Learning
  • Degree in quantitative or related field preferred
