Job Description

Join the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Fraud & Customer Protection Services (FCPS) group, as an Executive Director, to help drive Operations strategy for Card & Connected Commerce. You will report into the Head of Card Operations Strategy, representing Consumer and Community Bank Operations and will partner with Operations Teams, Product Owners, and the lines of business. Your role will include addressing strategic priorities as identified by senior C-suite executives and focusing on solving the most critical and complex strategy, business development, and operating model at the forefront of the industry including growth strategies, market entries, process design, partnerships, and cross-line of business initiatives.

As an Executive Director in FCPS Operations Strategy, your primary focus will be aligned to 2-3 strategic priorities identified for the Card & Connected Commerce portfolios, including refining existing strategies and building the pipelines for our Operations team. You will create strategy, innovation, and transformation to define and drive a connected experience with the goal of improving the client experience, enhancing employee productivity, and uplifting operating and financial performance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Direct strategic thinking and approach, quickly identifying most critical aspects of problem and most appropriate structure to translate that strategy into a connected experience
  • Support growth strategies through robust analytics and recommendations, working closely with the Data & Analytics team and providing strategic market and competitor analysis
  • Influence the strategic agenda by being an objective thought partner to product and operational leaders, beyond immediate scope of engagements
  • Lead in accelerating and generating new, innovative ideas and staying abreast of market trends while embracing an Artificial Intelligence (AI) mindset
  • Significantly influence by defining long-term business strategy to meet current needs and develop the framework for ongoing enhancements
  • Drive collaboration and influence a broad group of stakeholders and partners as well as work closely with our Product and Client Service organizations
  • Navigate seamlessly within a matrixed operating model and manage relationships with senior stakeholders and partners across Operations, Technology, and Product
  • Build and leverage global and local partnerships across businesses in line with the overall product and business objectives
  • Implement new, agile ways of working and a framework for evaluating, executing and integrating new capabilities and products to deliver client-ready, scalable solutions
  • Provide meaningful measurements and accompanying insights that represent progress against stated goals and key business metrics
  • Analyze and synthesize key insights from analytics, customer research, competitive and market analysis, and company information to provide context and perspective and to help drive priorities

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services, strategy, and/or business development
  • Ability to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view and ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
  • Highly developed communication, networking and consensus-building skills
  • Collaborative attitude and willingness to work with internal and external stakeholders, globally
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Familiarity with the business services and offerings associated with Chase, specifically within Operations and consumer businesses
  • Experience with agile product development techniques and practices for speed-to-market
  • Ability to learn quickly, work simultaneously with multiple products in business units and balance multiple initiatives

  • Undergraduate degree strongly preferred
