Strategic Accounts Sales Manager

This senior sales position is responsible for managing the commercial aspects of BSI's strategic Assurance clients in the Americas region.

Working in tandem with the Assurance Strategic Accounts Operations team and other internal stakeholders, this person will be responsible for growing the assigned strategic accounts, increasing the share of the wallet, and targeting, developing, and attracting new relevant accounts.

In this role, you will be responsible for taking a client-centric approach to sales by showcasing & proposing only relevant solutions from the BSI portfolio to support the client's strategic goals.

Reporting to Strategic Accounts Sales Director, Americas, this role will focus on business development and sales within our largest accounts and will work in strong collaboration with Assurance Sales Directors, Marketing Directors, Business Development Directors, Global Account Directors, and Sector leaders inside and outside the region.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Development and execution of key account strategy/business plans for agreed key accounts
  • Partner with Marketing to develop and execute account based marketing (AMB) strategies aligned with account goals.
  • Supported by your manager, establish, implement and manage an account management structure and plan covering; strategic objectives, client agenda, business development, account management, communication, relationship maps, org charts and reporting plans.
  • Perform all tasks according to established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the assigned accounts, including: Sales, Revenue and Gross Margin
  • Along with other stakeholders, build and maintain client relationships on VP or c-level and engage clients on a solution-selling approach, aiming at long-term profitability of all nominated accounts.
  • Establish a mindset of co-creation and innovation within accounts by identifying new product development opportunities. Coordinate the product initiatives in line with and integrated in the overall BSI strategy.
  • Be an active partner of an Assurance America's "center of excellence" for providing responses to large RFPs and managing the entire process towards improving BSI's success rate in winning large bids in coordination of the global center of excellence. In some cases, not as the opportunity leader, but rather supporting a wider team.

The salary for this position can range from 74,800.00 USD to 93,500.00 USD annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget and internal peer compensation comparisons.
