This individual will audit processes and controls regarding software releases, both internal and 3rd party. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Creates and maintains quality system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures Establishes quality certifications and maintains required periodic audits to maintain certifications Develops, implements, and maintains comprehensive quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards for a global organization Assures companywide adherence to quality standards for internal teams and external vendors Establishes quality and reliability standards by studying project requirements with all stakeholders, conferring, and negotiating with suppliers, SMEs, and devising testing methods and procedures Implements in-process inspection standards by studying design and manufacturing methods and devising testing methods and procedures Establishes rework standards Enforces quality assurance policies and procedures through regular audits and corrective action reports Ensures compliance with all project-related regulatory and government requirements Prepares project quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information to drive quality and cost improvements May assist functional management in the performance of special assignments and projects in support of strategic planning efforts Analyzes trends for continuous performance improvement Skills and Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact clearly and concisely with all departments and levels of management Excellent organizational skills with attention-to-detail Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Proficiency with Microsoft Office Familiarity with NetSuite Excellent problem-solving skills Education, Experience, and Licenses/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in related field Minimum 3 years' experience in quality assurance (or equivalent) Working knowledge of quality system requirements with expert knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Standard Knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements and legal standards Experience with MS Word, Excel, Project Management and Analytics software Experience with Jira or similar ticketing system Experience with Python a plus Physical Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel as needed Willingness and ability to work after regularly scheduled hours as needed Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods working on a computer (4 to 8 hours) Ability to operate the equipment used for the job Ability to lift 15 pounds at times Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job Marginal Functions: A review of this job description may have omitted some of the marginal functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of the job duties and responsibilities.This job description, in no way, states or implies that these are the only duties and/or responsibilities to be performed by the employee in this position.The employee in this position will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by his/her supervisor.
