Primary Purpose of JobManages the overall direction, coordination, planning, execution, and completion of medium to large and complex, enterprise-level projects. Leads and drives the project to completion while ensuring consistency with company strategy and goals.Major Job AccountabilitiesWorks collaboratively to drive cross-functional teams, business and technical, to deliver projects within approved scope, timelines, budget, and stated business outcomes.Builds detailed project management schedules and identifies project tasks and deliverables required to support a detailed project plan / sprint plan and roadmap.Participates in building project business justifications and business cases, responsible for developing the implementation plan to support the business case and driving the implementation plan to deliver the final project objectives.Plays a pivotal role in spanning business and technical aspects, ensuring that project scope(s) and deliverables align with business and technical capabilities, roadmap, and create tangible business value for the organization.Maintains oversight and accountability for project performance including review of key project metrics and measurements, and budget variance.Identifies, manages, and mitigates risks by taking corrective actions to prevent issues.Collaborates with the business to prioritize and define project objectives, business requirements or user stories, and guide business stakeholders through the project management framework.Works with all stakeholders to identify and confirm necessary project resources throughout the project lifecycle and resolves resource availability conflicts across the project(s).Lead / Coach teams to execute projects effectively in agile or hybrid methodologies, focused on continuous improvement and accountability.Supports and manages RFI/RFP process as appropriate, providing support and adherence to best practices for vendor assessment, scoring methodologies, and presentation of solution options.Prepares and delivers regular communications, reports, and dashboards to ensure project sponsors, key stakeholders, and leadership are informed of project statuses, risks, issues, and successes.Experience RequiredMinimum five (5) years of experience:Project Management experience, with a focus on implementation of technology solutions, process improvement, or operational efficiencies.Experience creating, coaching, motivating, and maintaining high performing teams.Minimum ten (10) years of experience in roles related to project management, business analysis, quality assurance, management consulting, or operations improvement.Required Skills or TrainingMBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred.In-depth knowledge and experience in applying project management best practices.Knowledge of process and continuous improvement, including basic Six Sigma principles.Working knowledge of Organizational Change Management strategies, practices, and frameworks.Experience working with agile methodologies, frameworks, and tools such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Jira, or Rally.General knowledge of the banking industry and demonstrated success in the management and implementation of medium to large, complex business and technology-driven projects.Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of risk management, accounting/financial reporting, process improvement, internal controls, organizational change management, and IT change control processes.A knack for storytelling, framing complicated problems in simple terms with proven experience presenting to senior leadership.Real passion for working in highly collaborative, creative, analytical, and dynamic environments focused on improving team member and customer experiences.Self-starter comfortable with taking the lead and managing multiple initiatives with an ability to collaborate across teams.Excellent analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and planning skills; attention to detail.Able to work collaboratively with other enterprise project managers to effectively navigate resource, budget, timeline constraints, or ambiguity.Excellent written, verbal, listening, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and external vendor partners.Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Professional Certifications, Licenses, And/or Registration RequirementsProject Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute or equivalent work experience preferred.Agile certifications (CSM; ACP; CSPO; SAFe) preferred.Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt is a plus.
