Management Controls Inc. (MCi) is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our Services Team. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for providing technical project planning, management, risk tracking, oversight for key initiatives and implementation projects, ensuring that these initiatives and projects meet expectations and are completed with an extremely high quality. They coordinate the work of cross-functional teams and Engineering resources to lead E2E software projects including cloud migrations, SAP/ERP and access control systems integration with the MCi TRACK platform. Technical PM will work in close collaboration with MCi Consulting PM to implement software solutions at both the strategic and tactical levels to resolve client business and technology challenges.

Management Controls is headquartered in Houston, TX. This position is open to candidates outside of Houston, within the contiguous U.S., that are able to work 100% remote.

Duties and responsibilities:

A Technical Project Manager in the Services organization is responsible for all phases of the project lifecycle for assigned projects; initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and close. The Technical Project Manager will assist in continual improvement of department standards and methodologies to improve the overall delivery for project stakeholders.

Develops project plans that meet client needs and company goals and coordinates technical personnel through all stages of the project. Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing internal and client solutions. Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with stakeholders. Works closely with cross-functional teams, as well as senior management, to ensure that the integration scope and execution of each project is on track. Manages Azure DevOps system and all tickets related to development work for client projects. Hold regular team meetings to review progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects. Verifies results by audits and lessons learned sessions for technologies implemented. Leads internal projects to meet organizational goals. Adheres to MCi's project management standards and methodologies and recommends strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating project outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. Information Technology or related field preferred 5+ years' experience as an IT Project Manager Has managed projects involving ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, Maximo, etc.) An understanding of middleware technologies (PI, PO, MuleSoft, etc.) An understanding of web services and API integrations Experience with Azure DevOps Knowledgeable in SAP (R3, ECC, S4) A PMP Certification is a plus but not required Access Control System (ACS) integration experience is a plus but not required
