OverviewSofttek Government Solutions is seeking a Personnel Security Process (Senior Management Analyst) to support the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). ASPR is a public health preparedness and emergency response organization in the Office of the Secretary at the United States Department of Health and Human Services. ASPR was created under the Pandemic and All Hazards Preparedness Act in the wake of Hurricane Katrina to lead the nation in preventing, preparing for, and responding to the adverse health effects of public health emergencies and disasters.ResponsibilitiesReceive, analyze, prepare, and submit security packages for applicants that are new hires, transfers, promotions, re-assignments and renewal for various security level sensitivities.Provide updates to the appropriate personnel across multiple departments by accurately maintaining specific spreadsheets, logs and other trackers, and making sure they are organized in a fashion that is able to be accessed.Provide guidance on secure communications, including secure telephones, Secure Video Teleconferencing (SVTC), and secure information technology (IT) equipment, such as HHS's Secure Portal and Access Management System (AMS).Provide expertise to the program offices on HHS policies and procedures regarding personnel, classified information and communication security, and classification management.Inform the Administrative and Executive Officers of the status of the hiring process for each applicant.Ensure the implementation of procedures for eQIP, Security Manager, HHS Identity Portal, and various information technology/web-based programs are followed.Coordinate requests for meetings, discussions, and communications between the division offices and the Office of National Security (ONS).Train personnel and co-workers in the department as needed.QualificationsRequired EducationBachelor's degreeRequired Experience8-10 years of experienceDirect personnel security processing experienceKnowledge of clearance levels and various forms used to process security requestsExcellent attention to detailAbility to process actions in a timely mannerDemonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilityHighly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independentlyProven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and responseDemonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentIntermediate level Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, and Adobe Acrobat skillsSuperior time management skills.Required ClearanceFavorable adjudicated Tier 3 investigation and be able to obtain and maintain a minimum Secret clearanceAbout Softtek Government Solutions:Softtek Government Solutions is a professional services firm focused on addressing our nation's most complex threats and challenges.
