We are looking for a passionate, dynamic and customer focused Cloud engineering leader to join our Lyve organization. The candidate should have a strong technical background in S3 cloud platforms and cloud data domains, should be a thought leader, have exceptional organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills and be an analytical and structured thinker. The right candidate should have a demonstrable track record of successfully developing cloud architecture frameworks, designing, and delivering modern cloud data platform solutions, cloud migrations, cloud-native solutions and helped drive Cloud Practice growth.Manage overall architecture, design, implementation, and testing of Cloud platform projects.Stay abreast of cloud technology trends, advancements, and best practices.Build and maintain architecture artifacts, design processes and best practices, provide technical oversight to architects and engineers.Prototype solutions and develop proof-of-concept.Promote cross-functional collaboration and engineering excellence.About you:

* Experienced with agile development process and methodologies.* Strong knowledge of cloud service providers, cloud technology trends, cloud development tools, cloud migration and management and container technologies.* A deep understanding of cloud-based data platform architectures, containers and serverless technologies.* Knowledge of cloud native architecture, cloud tooling and DevOps.* Proven experience with large scale distributed & cloud-based technologies such as Kubernetes, Hazelcast, Kafka, MySQL, Mongo, Cassandra, Containers, Chef, Splunk, Elastic, and Hadoop.* Large-scale software/application development with coding experience in some of the following: Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, .NET, Python, PHP etc.* Experience managing a team of global architects, software developers, and QA organizations.* Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills with the ability to work in a global environment and drive consensus in cross-functional teams.* Demonstrated interpersonal skills to interface well with clients and partners at all levels.* Outstanding communications ability to a diverse customer audience, executives, product, and technology stakeholders.* Strong relationship management skills.* Solid business acumen.* Experience demonstrating strong leadership, self-motivation, and accountability.* Fast learner on both technical and business side.* Strong customer centric mindset.* Comfortable operating in a matrix setup.* Proactive, demonstrate sense of urgency and 'can do' attitude.* Detail and results oriented, able to analyze data to justify product decisions and apply key learnings.* Ability to stay organized while managing competing priorities.* Excellent verbal and written communications skills.* Use technical expertise and visionary capabilities to ensure the Lyve cloud platform services are a key differentiator for Seagate, you will drive the engineering vision and strategy for how the platform is designed and delivered.* Manage teams' budget, advocate for the removal of technical debt, assist and support team effectiveness.* Champion and effectively utilize Agile methodology and practices by partnering with aligned Architects and Product Owners to strive for elite engineering teams.* Understand the business domain and product vision; in partnership with other team members to align the work of the team toward the shared goals for the product.* Monitor team effectiveness, quality of work, and quickly address issues/performance affecting team productivity.* Support team members in addressing or escalating issues to make the overall team more efficient.* Remove roadblocks and obstacles; manage interdependencies when needed.* Initiate and foster collaborative partnerships with current and potential customers, technology and business managers, vendors, and technology executives; develops relationships that support increasing efficiency and effectiveness.* Coach and evaluate the performance and quality of work delivered by team members, create a motivating and respectful work environment for teams, and ensure that your team is constantly learning and delivering quality code while driving cross-functional alignment with other parts of Lyve organization.* Provide relevant technical coaching and support to team members. Hires talent and actively engages in recruiting processes.* Participate in the development of business and/or technology vision, strategies, critical success factors, and operating plans for application, unit, or platform.* Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams, assess their needs, and be able to build an effective organization.* Ability to drive career development, creating an environment in which engineers can grow appropriately in a challenging technical area.* Ability to lead an organization to ambitious standards of metrics-validated engineering excellence.* Excellent product sensibility, with the capability to drive key product innovations or opportunities.Your experience includes:

* Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in computer science preferred, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.* 15 years' experience building enterprise software systems, and 10 years building object storage cloud platforms.Location:

The estimated base salary range for this position: $231,000 - $343,000. Actual salary range is based on the regional labor market of the role in the geography in which the position is located based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
