Our client, a Fortune 500 Software Organization, is seeking a Technical Program Manager to bring onto the team.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contract Technical Program Manager to oversee and coordinate cross-functional project efforts between distributed engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

This role requires a proactive individual who can manage week-over-week work priorities for a data engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in a technical role, with proven proficiency in project and program management.

The role will be critical in driving operational efficiency, maintaining multiple roadmaps, and ensuring effective communication across teams operating in different time zones.

Required Skills:

Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with distributed engineering teams to ensure seamless collaboration and project execution.

Work Prioritization: Manage week-over-week work priorities for a data engineering team, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

Project Management: Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira, Asana, and Microsoft 365 products to manage and track project progress, create documentation, and report to leadership.

Roadmap Management: Maintain multiple project roadmaps, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.

Communication: Facilitate asynchronous communication across teams in different time zones, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.

Technical Translation: Translate business requirements into technical requirements and effectively communicate these to less technical team members, discussing trade-offs when necessary.

Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with engineers, engineering managers, product managers, and business leaders to ensure project success.

Operational Efficiency: Monitor and report on improvements to operational efficiency, providing regular updates to team leaders.

Minimum four year bachelor's degree.

Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar certifications are a plus.
