Our offices are growing and we’re actively searching for the ideal candidate to join our team.About the RoleAs an Account Director you are an important member of the senior team. You are responsible for fully owning your client base, ensuring that campaigns are running smoothly and that your teams are challenged and motivated. You write, present concepts, and develop strategies to best suit your client needs and market trends. As a client leader, you’re responsive and flexible and willing to step in and support your teams whenever needed. We are entrepreneurial and brave so are looking for individuals that want to develop innovative work that gets noticed, meaning you can establish trust with your clients so they are comfortable taking a risk with us! In this role, you will:Lead strategy and/or creative process/review alongside account lead, offering input and feedbackCollaborate with strategy and/or creative teams to build plan presentations with direction from account leadChampion innovative work that gets noticedCoach team on client managementManage client satisfaction and loyaltyAssume accountability for strategy & execution within agency and client standardsIdentify and resolve issues quicklyManage client expectationsConsistently manage multiple teams, budgets and billingParticipate in new business development by increasing business with existing clients, networking and identifying prospects, and contributing to RFPs and pitchesAssist junior team members to prepare for new business presentationsContribute to creative brainstorming and campaign executionParticipate actively in hiring decisionsInteract with and gain the trust of senior clientsServe as quality control and ensure only the highest quality work is delivered to clientsBe responsible for budgets and proactive to ensure account profitabilityQUALIFICATIONS:8+ years of PR experience, agency experience preferredConsumer product and packaged goods experience preferredPrevious management experience where you were responsible for independently managing a client and a teamAbility to lead others and remain calm under pressure; perform regular management and coaching of staffSuperior client relationship management skillsA strong business acumen and comfortable dealing with analytics and financial controlExceptional organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time, be flexible, respond and adapt to changing client demands.A collaborative leader who is innovative and entrepreneurialStrong negotiation skillsDemonstrated results in public relations work, influencer programming, client service and account leadership.Stellar writing and editing skills required.Passion for both traditional and digital communications.Ability to balance strategic thinking with plan execution.Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.Excellent at thinking on your feet.Salary for this role is $115,000 - $135,000 annually depending on experience.Joining Citizen Relations, you are part of the Plus Company.
