The Team:Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) team is a newly formed, global organization within Mattel. The team is responsible for Brand Creative, Media, Brand PR, Marketing Operations and Production. This group was created to enable global consistency and support best-in-class, consumer-centric campaigns, assets, and media planning.

This new role will be part of IMC's Marketing Operations team, which is dedicated to driving operational excellence, overseeing Project Management, Asset & Channel Management and developing a Marketing Operations Center of Excellence (COE).

This role exists to develop and refine IMC technology, data governance processes and taxonomy throughout asset creation, production and distribution, and media deployment processes, workflows, tools, and tracking of assets for commercialization to Mattel and external stakeholders.

The Opportunity:We are looking for an experienced Product Manager specializing in Asset technology, Data and Analytics. The Product Manager will be responsible for planning and executing the roadmap for Mattel Asset and Marketing Communications technology, data and analytics. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data technologies, data governance and taxonomy practices and processes, and a proven track record of managing complex data and data product end-to-end lifecycles.

What Your Impact Will Be:

Work with business and technical stakeholders to define and execute the roadmap for asset-focused marketing technology, data, products and tools including reporting dashboards and enterprise data integrations.

Own technology, data and taxonomy change request requirements gathering, prioritization and release roadmap.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define and execute the roadmap for marketing data, governance, tools and integrations including reporting dashboards.

Establish and manage a data governance program, including data quality and availability.

Analyze market trends, competitive analysis, and stakeholder feedback to inform partner identification.

Work with Mattel's data architecture teams to ensure that system designs deliver business requirements.

Act as asset data source and quality steward.

Own and govern enterprise asset and related metadata, taxonomies and evolutions.

Identify business KPIs and metrics, and drive reporting and dashboarding across the organization.

Ensure all data products and integrations align with the company's strategy and goals.

Drive enterprise efficiencies by consolidating requirements across business units.

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver quality products on time and within budget.

Foster strong relationships with key external partners and vendors.

Communicate product vision and progress to leadership.

Ensure products comply with laws and industry standards, including data privacy and security.

What We're Looking For:Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, Marketing / Data Analytics or related field. A master's degree or MBA is a plus.

3 - 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or similar in a technology or data-focused company.

Deep understanding of data technologies (e.g., Data Asset Management tools, databases, data warehouses, big data technologies, data visualization tools).

Experience with asset (Workfront & DAM, plans, briefs) technologies and data.

Experience with data governance and taxonomy processes, involving business owners, processes, tools and reporting.

Strong understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and data privacy regulations.

Ability to understand and speak to technical aspects of data products and integrations.

Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.

Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

A customer-centric mindset, with a proven ability to translate customer needs into product features.

Microsoft Office proficient.

Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate as part of a cross-functional team.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with data modeling tools, data quality tools such as Collibra, Google Data Lake, Reporting tools such as Tableau.

Technical experience in software development or data science.

Experience with cloud technologies and platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

Familiarity with product/marketing, media, and consumer data.

Familiarity with marketing content supply chain production, management and delivery.

Experience and knowledge of DAM systems, rights management, project management and creative tools, e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud and Workfront.

Product Management Certification is a plus.

Salary:

The annual base salary range for this position is between $104,800.00 and $149,000.00. This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate's work location, skills and experience.
