These include:Nurturing and cultivating a robust client base within the trust and estates realm.Providing expert legal counsel on intricate trust and estate matters.Overseeing a dedicated team comprising associates, paralegals, and support staff.Spearheading strategic business development initiatives to fuel the firm's growth in the trust and estates practice area.Actively collaborating with fellow partners and departments to unlock cross-selling prospects.Staying meticulously updated on ever-evolving legal frameworks, regulations, and industry trends.Drafting and reviewing critical legal documents, such as wills, trusts, and estate plans.Adeptly managing negotiations, settlements, and any necessary litigation.Engaging in industry events and conferences to nurture and sustain vital professional relationships.To excel in this position, candidates must meet several prerequisites:Holding a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Maintaining an active membership with the State Bar of California.A minimum of eight years of hands-on experience practicing trust and estates law.A demonstrated history of generating portable revenue exceeding the $200,000 threshold.Strong business development skills, combined with exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.A knack for mentoring and managing a team of legal professionals.Superior research and analytical skills.Proficiency in legal software and technology.In addition to the challenging and rewarding nature of the role, the law firm offers a competitive salary structure and comprehensive healthcare coverage.
