Has direct reports that implement and execute the policies and procedures of the business operations' quality program/system.Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability:Coordinates control plans, inspection systems, and action plans to achieve expected resultsMonitors performance of individuals and processes and directs continual improvements as appropriateResponsible for mentoring and development of team membersSupervision of nonconformance, containment and corrective action execution and metricsSupervision of Gage & tool calibration maintenanceSupervision of Internal Audit ProgramChair the Management Review MeetingCoordinate and host ISO 9001:2008 auditsCoordinate orientation, education and training in ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) and related processes including strategic and tactical quality system planningRequirementsEducationPost-secondary education (engineering degree preferred) or equivalent work experienceExperienceRequired: Minimum 3 years Quality Engineer/Analyst, Quality Specialist experience or equivalentPreferred: 6 Sigma Green Belt, Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Supervisory knowledge, skills and experience, Professional Engineering designation.QualificationsUnderstanding of ISO9001:2008 QMS requirementsKnowledge of inspection systems and standardsStrong facilitation, leadership and motivational skillsStrong communication (written, verbal and presentation) and training delivery skillsProcess management and continual improvement skillsWorking knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and Quality tools (e.g. 5 Why, 8D, Fishbone, etc.)Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE), or agreed on Professional Development Plan to achieve certification (ASQ preferred but other comparable regional certifications accepted).Husky Technologies TM
