At Virginia Mason Franciscan Health you will find the safest and highest quality of care provided by our expert, compassionate medical care team at 11 hospitals and nearly 300 sites throughout the greater Puget Sound region.Responsibilities:We are now accepting applications for the new graduate RN Residency program at Virginia Mason.We offer the National Nurse Residency Program (NNRP) for our hospital inpatient units This is a national program focused on supporting the new graduate nurse from entry level to competent professional nurse. The evidence-based curriculum provides emphasis on leadership, patient safety outcomes, and professional development. Our program offers an individualized professional development plan and monthly seminars conducted during the first year of employment at Virginia Mason. Our Residency program will prepare you to successfully begin your career as a confident nursing professional.Join us at Virginia Mason and experience a truly supportive environment as you gain skills, confidence and build relationships with your peers. We offer Nurse Residency Cohorts four times a year, with flexible start dates. Opportunities are available in inpatient acute care units will vary.Application Details: Please review all the requirements and upload necessary documents when you submit your application. For consideration, you must provide the following at the time of your submittalCurrent resume, including information related to clinical rotations and work experience(Required).Cover Letter including your preference in regards to working in a hospital inpatient department or outpatient clinic setting (Required)Current unofficial school transcripts (Highly preferred)Letter of recommendation from a clinical instructor and or reference contact information (Required) If you do not provide required items, your application may not be considered.Most positions are full time (36-40 hours per week). Shifts may vary, 8-12 hours in duration. Some positions may require working every other weekend.Qualifications:We require:Current and valid Washington State registered nurse license is required before your start date.Gradguation from an accredited school of nursingPlease be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
