ABB's Installation Products business is comprised of 38 marquee brands, within the ELIP portfolio. The business is focused on reciprocal partnerships with channel partners serving the Utility, Residential and C&I markets. The Director of Sales Rep Management is responsible for leading & growing the Mechanical & Electrical Distribution organizations by aligning our Sales Reps to our strategy with our Region and National Account lead(s).This position will foster an environment of high accountability, strategic relationships, driving mutually beneficial growth for ABB. This role will focus on the accountability of development and execution of our Sales Reps Sales Plans, New Product Sales Execution, Conversion and project pipelines to deliver sales targets for the US region for the ELIP portfolio in a rapidly changing market. Profitable growth and share expansion are key metrics to measure success. This role will oversee a team of 1-3 team members, while influencing the full $1B portfolio.This leader will also build and sustain an effective culture focused on people development and customer retention, strongly collaborating with functional stakeholders to drive one team with our direct sales team and our independent Sales Rep network in the US.Create a culture of accountability, clear strategy and financial discipline, focused on external needs through our Sales Rep network.Financial performance: Sales/Orders, Margin, Price, Mix, ecommerce growth.Collaborate with Sales Rep environment, engagement & listening sessions to deliver revenue targets.Manage balanced sales scorecard. Track performance to ensure growth of target product lines. Accountable for plans and results to achieve the mix/margin/cost objectives of ELIP (T&B).Allocate resources to increase revenue, gain customer support, and position for future growth. Ensure Market Reach to key markets and customers.Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with clear accounts and growth KPIs for each of our Sales Reps.Executive Sales Rep relationships with key stakeholders.Development of sales resources, support & commercial effectiveness for our Sales Reps.This position will manage revenue of approximately 1.2B and will manage 2 - 3 direct reports.Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing or business administration or technical field / advanced degree desirable.Minimum 10 years related experience.Sales experience of a $100M + business.Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills.External Sales Rep Management experience.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about us
