DescriptionAnywhere Real Estate is seeking a dedicated and experienced attorney to join our legal team. This role involves representing the company and its affiliated real estate agents in various legal proceedings, providing counsel to executive and branch office management, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Appearances required in Northern California.This a hybrid role - where you have to go into offices at Concord, CA few times.Key Responsibilities:Litigation and Representation:
Represent the company and affiliated real estate agents in litigation, arbitration, mediation, and regulatory proceedings.Legal Investigation:
Investigate legal issues, interpret laws and regulations involving multifaceted substantive legal areas, including real estate brokerage, contracts, regulatory compliance, and licensing.Counseling Management:
Provide legal counsel to executive and branch office management on various legal matters.Risk Management:
Offer risk-management and continuing education to staff and agents.Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure the company’s operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.Contract Review:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.Dispute Resolution:
Manage and resolve disputes involving the company and its affiliates.Required Qualifications:Experience:
4 to 7 years of litigation experience, with a strong background litigation and trial practice.Bar Membership:
Active membership in the California Bar.Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Skills:
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Preferred Skills:Real Estate Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of real estate brokerage, contracts, regulatory compliance, and licensing.Problem-Solving:
