The Director of Information Technology will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT operations and strategy. Focus will be on establishing an efficient secure environment, leveraging the SAP platform and ensuring efficient use of business tools such as AI and Machine Learning. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Director will lead a team of IT professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless integration and efficient management of IT resources.
Responsibilities:
IT Strategy and Leadership:
Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company's goals, fosters innovation and efficiency, and supports the efficient integration of newly acquired entities.
Provide strong leadership in the IT organization, helping guide professional development and ensuring a high-performing, motivated, and collaborative workforce.
Participate in budgeting and resource allocation for IT projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
Vendor Management:
Evaluate and select third-party vendors and service providers to support IT and business initiatives.
Manage the activities and deliverables of third-party vendors and service providers.
Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms to ensure value for the organization.
Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
Liaise with technology vendors to stay up-to-date on product advancements and explore potential partnerships to enhance company operations.
IT Infrastructure and Security:
Ensure the company's IT infrastructure is robust, scalable, and reliable, meeting the demands of a growing organization.
Implement and enforce information security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard company data and systems from potential threats and breaches.
Assess the IT infrastructure of acquired companies and identify opportunities for consolidation and standardization.
IT Compliance and Governance:
Ensure the company's IT practices follow industry regulations, data privacy laws, and internal policies.
Maintain proper documentation and audit trails to facilitate internal and external compliance assessments and audits.
SAP S4 HANA Public Edition Implementation and Operation:
Support the successful implementation and ongoing operation of SAP to meet business objectives and strategies.
Collaborate with the SAP functional team to analyze and document technology requirements for SAP configurations and customizations.
Support the development and execution of testing plans to ensure system reliability and data accuracy.
Collaborate with technical and functional personnel to identify opportunities for SAP integration with other software systems and applications, including the Data Lake and other Business Analytics solutions.
Provide technical expertise and support in resolving complex issues and challenges related to SAP usage and integrations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven track record of at least 2-3 years in IT leadership roles.
Experience with management of third-party providers - MSP's MSSP's
Demonstrated ability to manage complex IT projects and deliver successful outcomes on time and within budget.
Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, security best practices, and data privacy regulations.
Relevant certifications in SAP, Databricks, and other relevant technologies are a plus.
