This IT Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer position will join a dynamic and fast-growing global IT organization in San Jose, California, or Kirkland, Washington supporting world-wide operations with major sites in the US, EU, and APAC. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our 24/7 production environment, managing infrastructure, and driving continuous improvement in our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:Provide 24/7 support for production systems, ensuring high availability and performanceDesign, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions using a variety of technologiesDevelop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python, Bash, and AnsibleManage and optimize Linux and Windows operating systemsImplement and maintain API integrations to enhance system interoperabilityAdminister and troubleshoot OpenStack and VMware environmentsManage and optimize storage solutions, including Nimble, Pure, and NetApp systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver and support multiple projects simultaneouslyContinuously improve infrastructure and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability

Required Skills and Experience:Proven experience in a DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering role, preferably in a 24/7 production environmentStrong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systemsProficiency in Python, Bash, and Ansible scriptingExperience with API integration and developmentHands-on experience with OpenStack and VMware virtualization technologiesFamiliarity with storage systems, particularly Nimble, Pure, and NetAppExperience in data center operations and managementStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressureExcellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldRelevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware, Red Hat)Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)
