More specifically, you will:Role Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of global litigation matters, including significant litigation and regulatory enforcement matters.Partner with legal professionals and attorneys to address escalated subpoenas, consumer complaints, small claims, and eDiscovery issues.Manage updates to external auditors and draft board materials.Report to senior and executive leaders on litigation risk and strategy.Regularly partner and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Business colleagues on cross-functional projects that involve litigation risk or strategy.Interact with external stakeholders and internal customers (Business, Compliance, Finance) daily and will interact with government and regulatory officials.Impact the customer experience by advising on litigation risk and strategy.Although not a people manager, this role is responsible for leading by example and driving results/projects across the team in all its areas (litigation, consumer complaints, subpoenas, eDiscovery). Also responsible for leading high-stake, high-visibility cross-functional projects for litigation and regulatory enforcement matters with Compliance, Public Policy, Privacy, Business, or Finance impacts.Role Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 6 years as a litigation attorney with relevant/practical experience in a law firm, a corporate legal department, and/or the government required.Education:
JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted to at least one U.S. state bar (if not admitted in CO, must have ability to obtain single-client certificate), required.Technical Skills:
Litigation management expertise (advanced), legal research and writing (advanced), budget management (intermediate), proficiency with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (intermediate).Other Attributes:
