We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Paralegal with a passion for justice and a keen eye for detail to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your career in the legal field, working alongside experienced attorneys in a fast-paced and challenging environment. You will be an integral part of our team, handling a diverse range of tasks that are critical to our operation. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Paralegal, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Assisting attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings.
  2. Researching and analyzing law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes to prepare legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, initial and amended articles of incorporation, stock certificates and other securities, buy-sell agreements, closing papers and binders, deeds, and trust instruments for review, approval, and use by attorney.
  3. Investigating facts and law of cases to determine causes of action and to prepare cases.
  4. Drafting legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda.
  5. Helping lawyers prepare for litigation and providing litigation support.
  6. Ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
  7. Managing case files and supporting attorneys with case management.
  8. Coordinating law office activities such as subpoena delivery.
  9. Organizing and tracking case files for important dates, documents, and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably within the civil litigation field.
  2. A strong understanding and experience in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing legal assistance.
  3. Proficiency in using legal research software and case management tools.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. The ability to work independently, manage large amounts of data, and multitask effectively.
  6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  7. A paralegal degree or certification is preferred.
  8. Knowledge of legal compliance and legal documentation is essential.
  9. Experience in document review and litigation support is required.
  10. A strong sense of professionalism and discretion.
