SUMMARY

Carrier Enterprise (CE) is a national distributor of residential and light commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products, parts and supplies through licensed HVAC/R dealers and contractors. CE operates primarily in the business-to-business environment where its products are sold through licensed HVAC dealers and HVAC contractors. These dealers are independent companies that sell, deliverand service Carrier, Bryant Payne products to residences and businesses in their respective markets. CE offers customers a wide range of HVAC/R product lines, competitive pricing, best in class customer service and valuable, timesaving services that positions CE as an industry leader. With over 200+ locations, in 28 states, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico and Canada there is a location to service our customers HVAC/R needs

Job Responsibilities: Commercial Outside Sales Engineer

Contact and call on consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, architects, and owners to achieve annual sales and gross margin goals.Conduct sales, design, and application training to above reference key decision makersWork with specifying engineers and design-build contractors to help specify CE productsCreate new business through organized prospecting and increase our share of business from assigned territoryConduct take-offs of plans and specifications; develop and price estimates, write the proposal and bid jobs.Participate in local and regional trade organizations and trade shows.Provide and/or coordinate technical and product training to customersQualifications: Commercial Outside Sales Engineer

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentSolid problem-solving abilities with the competence to make recommendationsFull-time and Part-time positions are available. Requirements

5+ years of proven technical sales, HVAC sales experienceAn undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical disciplineSolid understanding of HVAC principlesVerifiable experience with specified productsStrong presentation skillsProficient with a PC and Microsoft Office applications
