Strategic Sourcing Data Analyst
Our client is seeking a motivated Strategic Sourcing Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on driving improvements and innovation within the sourcing department through data analysis, process optimization, and collaborative initiatives. As a key player in sourcing, you'll have the opportunity to develop PowerBI reports, support cost management strategies, and contribute to sourcing optimization projects. If you're passionate about leveraging data to streamline processes and bring value to a growing organization, this role is for you!Responsibilities:Design and implement methods to gather and manage sourcing data for PowerBI report developmentAnalyze sourcing data to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable strategiesAssist in planning and implementing sourcing optimization projectsContinuously review and enhance sourcing processes to maximize efficiencyResearch and recommend cost-efficient shipment procedures and methodsSupport the Strategic Sourcing team by driving purchasing process improvementsInnovate data presentation for tracking buying trends, costs, and supplier performanceContribute to total cost management efforts, including inventory reduction and price negotiationsCreate, analyze, and maintain supplier performance metrics using PowerBIGenerate regular sourcing-related reports and KPIs using PowerBIJob Requirements
Qualifications:
2+ years of experienceBachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems.Ability to learn and utilize Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI.Proven ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience collaboratively effectively across various levels of the organization.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in data analysis within a sourcing or supply chain context.Familiarity with Oracle and iSupplier portals.Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
