This role requires excellent research, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently and deliver high-quality work products.Duties and Responsibilities:Defend railroad companies in civil litigation matters, including FELA claims.Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy.Represent clients in court, including trial preparation and courtroom appearances.Collaborate with clients and other attorneys to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality work.Stay informed on developments in railroad litigation laws, regulations, and industry trends.Requirements:2-10 years of experience in railroad civil litigation, including FELA cases.Strong academic credentials and exceptional writing skills.Proven trial experience preferred.Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently and produce high-quality work.Admission to practice law and in good standing in their respective state.Education:JD degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic record with evidence of academic excellence.Certifications:Admission to the Bar in the respective state, with good standing.Skills:Expertise in railroad civil litigation and FELA cases.Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.Strong trial experience and ability to manage complex cases.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Outlook.
