The candidate must be admitted and in good standing in their respective state.Duties and Responsibilities:Defend railroad companies in civil litigation matters, including FELA claims.Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and litigation.Manage multiple assignments concurrently, ensuring high-quality work products.Represent clients in court, including handling trials and hearings as necessary.Collaborate with other attorneys, clients, and experts to develop effective litigation strategies.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of railroad litigation laws, regulations, and industry trends.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Utilize Microsoft Word and Outlook (Microsoft Office 365 preferred) for legal document preparation and case management.Requirements:2-10 years of experience in railroad civil litigation and handling FELA cases.Strong academic credentials and exceptional writing skills.Experience in trial work is preferred.Excellent research, analytical, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple assignments and produce high-quality work.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook (Microsoft Office 365 preferred).Admission to practice law and in good standing in their respective state.Education:JD degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic record with evidence of academic excellence.Certifications:Admission to the Bar in the respective state, with good standing.Skills:Expertise in railroad civil litigation and FELA cases.Strong writing and research skills.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proven trial experience and ability to manage multiple cases effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Outlook.
