Click the apply button to send your application!You will join our Environment & Health DivisionAs our new Air Quality Consultant you will be part of the Air Sciences Group, which is part of Ramboll’s Environment & Health Division. This group consists of people who are passionate about air quality and assisting Ramboll’s clients with their most challenging problems. The Air Sciences Group consults with clients across various industries on a range of topics, including but not limited to emissions estimation, air dispersion modeling, human health risk assessment, climate change, climate action planning, climate adaptation/resiliency, sustainability initiatives, permitting, and compliance.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesEstimating emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution sourcesConducting computer modeling of air pollution dispersionPerforming statistical and geospatial analyses of air quality dataAnalyzing pollution control measuresConducting air monitoring and indoor air quality analysisPreparing air quality permit applications and environmental impact reportsConducting air quality and greenhouse gas analyses under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)Working as a team to contribute technical skills on complex projectsCritically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulationsYour starting point for constant growthFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:Bachelor degree in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, environmental science or BS in a related discipline0-3 years of related experienceKnowledge of air permitting and modelingRegulatory experience in the Appalachian Basin is a plusExperience with state air permitting and federal Clean Air Act regulations such as New Source Performance Standards and Maximum Achievable Control Technology standards a plusHow to applyApply online.

At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $65,000 and $80,000.
