This group consists of people who are passionate about air quality and assisting Ramboll’s clients with their most challenging problems. The Air Sciences Group consults with clients across various industries on a range of topics, including but not limited to emissions estimation, air dispersion modeling, human health risk assessment, climate change, climate action planning, climate adaptation/resiliency, sustainability initiatives, permitting, and compliance.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesEstimating emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution sourcesConducting computer modeling of air pollution dispersionPerforming statistical and geospatial analyses of air quality dataAnalyzing pollution control measuresConducting air monitoring and indoor air quality analysisPreparing air quality permit applications and environmental impact reportsConducting air quality and greenhouse gas analyses under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)Working as a team to contribute technical skills on complex projectsCritically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulationsYour starting point for constant growthFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or science discipline (air quality course work is a plus) with a GPA of 3.5 or higher0-3 years of air quality or related experienceStrong computing skills including high level use of spreadsheets and word processingStrong written/verbal communication, problem-solving and organization skillsDemonstrated capabilities in understanding, interpreting, and applying environmental regulations to real-world situationsProgramming, database and GIS skills are preferred but not requiredHow to applyApply online.

At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $62,000 and $78,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
