About the TeamThe Dasher & Logistics team supports the millions of Dashers who make up the DoorDash fleet. We’re building the world’s leading last-mile logistics platform and we believe that in order to accomplish this we’ll need to disrupt ourselves a few times along the way! The Dasher Financial team is one such disruption: we're building fintech products that best support the needs of Dashers and gig workers like them. We are launching a consumer debit card this fall and exploring how we might power instant access to earnings across all gigs, put money back in Dashers' pockets through a rich and expansive rewards program, and help Dashers build credit and save for the long run.
About the RoleYou'll help lead the 0-1 development of new fintech business cases/products. You will:
Set strategy for what bets we invest in
Set and own business metrics
Own day-to-day execution
Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Marketing to help us build money products into the next big business line for DoorDash

Own: Be directly responsible for our cost and quality metrics across a subset of our product offering and develop plans to improve performance
Influence: Work cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, Finance, and Analytics teams to improve our profitability, enable growth, and influence the progression of our business
Implement: Lead the setup, execution, and go-to-market of new product and operational initiatives to improve our fulfillment capabilities

You have 5+ years of experience and have succeeded in high-growth teams (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience)
You want to affect change every day and can operate in energizing environments
You have a talent for managing complex projects, driving high-level goals into measurable plans, and enjoy implementing processes at the lowest level of detail
You love thinking about problems from a fundamentals approach, translating strategic vision into measurable success metrics and applicable plans
You seek exposure to different types of problems and want to try your hand at different sides of the business
You back your decisions up with data and you're comfortable pulling SQL or modeling in Excel
