culture at Forvis Mazars, we would like to hear from you!How you will contribute:Carrying out audit, review, and compilation engagementsManaging and supervising engagement teams on SEC audits and quarterly reviewsEffectively identifying and evaluating audit risk, plan engagements, and executing the designed audit plan to ensure audit engagements are completed with defendable files and documentationEffectively reviewing engagement work papersManaging the implementation of new and emerging accounting standardsProviding clients with subject matter expertise in the areas of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Industry Accounting PracticesDemonstrating effective professional writing and communication skills through drafting and reviewing client deliverablesEffectively managing concurrent engagements (including planning, supervising, and executing projects) and meeting deadlines without client and team disruptionManaging engagement fundamentals (e.g., realization, billing, utilization, leverage)Communicating frequently with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring that appropriate parties remain informed and involved in the project developments and conclusionsDeveloping a network of clients and industry resourcesAssisting in managing, developing, and coaching professional staffBuilding personal referral sources and clientele while actively participating in team marketing opportunitiesParticipating in speaking and article-writing opportunitiesCompleting CPE specific to the applicable industryWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:The ability to communicate both up and downstream to team staff and exercise judgment in determining client interactionsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple client projects, including monitoring project time budgets and consistently meeting or exceeding agreed-upon deadlinesAbility to complete occasional travelHigh attention to detail as well as the ability to demonstrate strong analytical skillsThe ability to professionally write and communicate deliverables including but not limited to client meetings, internal meetings, and projectsAdvanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to learn new software related to the accounting function of an organizationWillingness to embrace lifelong learning and continually look for opportunities to bring value, grow within your areas of expertise, and share your passion for public accountingAn aptitude to recruit and develop firm associates and team membersAn ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment to reach clear-set goalsMinimum Qualifications:5 years of audit experience in public accountingExperience with SEC reporting, including Form 10-K annual reports and Form 10-Q quarterly reportsExperience supervising and managing PCAOB-integrated auditsCPA licenseBachelor's or Master's degree in AccountingExperience managing multiple complex client engagements
