Data Operations Engineer , you will use cutting-edge cloud and data technologies to help global brands and federal agencies solve challenging problems through innovative technology solutions. Responsible for working with integration teams and source applications for pipelines failures related to bad data, data repairs or non-availability of data.Primary point of contacts for user queries and issues related to the data movement queries related to the pipelines being supported.Monitor the EDW production and non-production batch jobs.Review any existing production support dashboards currently available.Track and maintain support issues, open ADOs.Review job logs, troubleshoot and triage job failures, identify resolution for failed instances.Perform proactive monitoring activities to continually maintain and improve the knowledge base and runbooks.Support system maintenance activities for known events (releases, maintenance, upgrades, etc.) and engage in planning activities for these events.Follows communication plan with end-users and various stakeholders being supported as part of the Operations support.Escalate issues in a timely manner to source system teams, ETL senior devs, or partner teams (e.g. DBA, Pipeline, Infrastructure).Acknowledge and triage incidents as agreed in the MTTA/MTTR metrics with the stakeholders.Profile of Success
