Chair, Department of Radiation Oncology . The Chair has the opportunity to shape a robust academic department of two medical schools, with a proven reputation of providing high-quality, patient centered care, research programs, and education, and development of radiation oncology services at the new, free standing,
Jack and Sheryl Morris Cancer Center . The Chair provides oversight for all operational and programmatic aspects within the discipline of radiation oncology, including clinical radiation oncology, radiation physics, and radiation cancer biology. The Chair is responsible for oversight of all clinical/research activities, and mentorship of the researchers/providers assigned. The Chair serves as the Chief of the Radiation Oncology Service.

Minimum Education and Experience
MD or MD/PhD, and Radiation Oncology ACGME accredited residency programSustained record of peer reviewed funding preferred.Meets criteria for Associate Professor to Professor rank.National recognition; International recognition preferred.Proven leadership experience, evidenced by clinical and research program development, and successful mentorship and academic development of faculty.Evidence of active philanthropic activities to support program development.Clinical skills of the highest quality.Committed to professionalism with high quality interpersonal skills.Leadership experience in complex academic health system.Leadership experience in an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center preferred.Special Instructions to Applicants
