Team Lead Language Services - DC - Full time

Under supervision, the Team Lead will provide language interpretation services to patients, families and staff in critical, acute, or chronic medical situations as needed. Will provide services in person or telephonic interpretation to assist patients and families in their interactions throughout the hospital. Will assist manager in program knowledge and initiatives.Qualifications

Minimum EducationBachelor's Degree (Required)Master's Degree (Preferred)

Minimum Work Experience3 years Experience as a medical interpreter in a clinical setting (Required)

Required Skills/KnowledgeBilingual Spanish and English.Highly proficient in medical terminology.

Required Licenses and CertificationsCertification in Medical Interpretation preferred or required within 1st year of employment. Master's degree in equivalent field may be accepted.1 Year (Required)Functional Accountabilities
