Our reputation is built on delivering sustainable, intelligent design solutions for top-tier clients including Fortune 500 companies, major healthcare systems, and prestigious universities.Role Summary:We are seeking a seasoned Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our team. This role involves guiding clients towards their sustainability and wellness objectives for buildings, ensuring they achieve necessary third-party certifications. The certifications include, but are not limited to, LEED, WELL, Fitwel, Green Globes, Guiding Principles, and ENERGY STAR.Key Responsibilities:Lead sustainability consulting efforts for diverse clients, including developers, owners, architects, engineers, and contractors.Exhibit expertise in building MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.Assess mechanical, electrical, and plumbing project documents to ensure they meet project requirements and offer solutions for achieving goals.Collaborate with internal engineering teams to identify and leverage opportunities for meeting client sustainability targets and adhering to third-party certification criteria.Oversee the entire certification process for various rating systems such as LEED, WELL, Fitwel, and others.Develop and review sustainability and wellness-related project specifications.Prepare and refine documentation for third-party certifications, addressing any feedback from reviewers.Serve as a knowledgeable resource on third-party certifications, both within the company and externally.Lead construction kickoff meetings to guide contractors on their roles and responsibilities related to certifications.Facilitate early-stage Charrettes to help clients define sustainability and wellness goals and outline compliance pathways.Work in tandem with the Intelligent Buildings team to integrate sustainable practices with smart building technologies.Qualifications:In-depth knowledge of ASHRAE Standards such as 90.1, 62.1, and 55.Strong familiarity with LEED and other third-party rating systems for sustainable and healthy buildings.Commitment to assisting clients in achieving their project goals.Effective prioritization, attention to detail, and self-imposed quality control.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Environmental Studies.LEED AP or WELL AP certification with relevant project experience is required.5 to 10 years of experience in the building design and construction industry.EIT or PE credentials preferred.Fitwel Ambassador certification is a plus.We offer a collaborative environment with ample opportunities for professional development and a low turnover rate, reflecting our commitment to our team's growth and satisfaction.
