Energy Regulatory Associate Attorney

A law firm in Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Energy Regulatory Associate Attorney with 4-5 years of energy transactional and/or regulatory litigation and compliance experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, experience in regulatory matters before energy regulatory commissions, and the ability to handle multiple projects effectively.Responsibilities:

Handle regulatory and compliance matters before the Texas Public Utility Commission and other state energy regulatory commissions.Manage matters involving the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) or other ISO/RTOs or organized power markets.Advocate before state utility commissions and handle power transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, power sales, and related matters.Effectively handle multiple projects and articulate legal strategies and courses of action.Work collaboratively within a team environment.Requirements:

Active Bar license in the state.Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Experience:

4-5 years of energy transactional and/or regulatory litigation and compliance experience preferred.Skills:

Strong academic record.Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a team.Superior judgment in legal matters.Ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.Benefits:
