About the Middle School Director:The Director Level exists to provide ministry leadership through vision casting, volunteer recruiting, ongoing discipleship of volunteers, and promoting value-based movement engagement.The Middle School Director’s Responsibilities Include:Building Volunteer Teams for the weekend church experience:
Create and mobilize mid-week and Sunday strategies to invite students and adults to gather differently through volunteering (sg leaders, communicators, tech, and more)Onboard volunteers through form and background check processWeekly discipleship one-on-ones with volunteersMultiply small groupsSchedule Sunday teamsConnect volunteers to their next step on the growth track
Partnering with parents:
Connect with parents outside of the weekend church experienceCommunicate, market, and grow family engagement, while using age specific resources
Communicating:
Have the ability to prepare and teach a 12-15 minutes messageGrow as a communicatorPrepare and cast vision for Team Nights
Events:
Plan for, staff and attend 2 camps, 2 large events, 4 medium size events, 4 small events
Grow ministry:
Middle School ministry is 4% of Mission Church total attendance on a SundayVolunteer and student ratio is 1:8Retain families and reach new families through innovation
