Food and Beverage Supervisor

The Chicago Marriott O’Hare is looking for a full-time Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our awesome team! Previous Marriott Hotels experience preferred.Overview:The Food & Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while supporting the team to achieve the overall success of our service goals.Responsibilities:Ensure that guests receive exceptional service throughout their dining experience.Manage, train, and motivate the food and beverage team, including servers, bartenders, host/hostesses, and bar backs.Maintain high food and beverage quality standards, including presentation and taste.Oversee the ordering and stocking of food and beverage supplies to meet demand.Manage staff schedules to optimize efficiency while meeting labor cost targets.Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests, resolving issues promptly and professionally.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as all hotel policies and procedures.Coordinate and supervise food and beverage services for events and special occasions.Generate reports on sales, staff performance, and customer feedback for management review.Perform other duties as requested by management.Qualifications:Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including food safety and hygiene standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Exceptional customer service skills with a guest-focused mindset.Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Certification in food safety and alcohol service (e.g., ServSafe) is a plus.Availability:Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.We offer Health and Dental Insurance, company-paid Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance, Vision, Critical Illness, Accidental, 401(k) and company match, Paid Time Off (PTO), free hotel rooms and hotel discounts.
