This role involves routine maintenance tasks, emergency repairs, and overall facility upkeep to ensure a safe, functional, and pleasant environment.Principal Job Duties:Perform regular inspections of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other essential systems.Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks and keep detailed records.Identify potential issues and take preventative measures to avoid disruption.Diagnose and repair issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.Perform minor construction, carpentry, and painting tasks as needed.Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.Ensure common areas, restrooms, and exterior areas are well-kept and free of hazards.Assist with setup and teardown for events and meetings.Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Participate in safety training and drills.Maintain an inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment.Order and replenish supplies as needed.Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.Work closely with the Facility Manager and other team members.Communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and vendors.Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed.Education:High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.Experience:1 year experience with general facility maintenance required.Supervisor experience preferred.Required Valid Driver's licenseSkills:Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations.Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.Must be able to work unsupervised.Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.Physical Demands:Ability to lift, push and pull at least 30 pounds.Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.Ability to operate machinery including a golf cart.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
