Description & Requirements

We are looking to expand our Tangible Asset Valuation practice with an experienced personal property (M&E) appraiser or valuation specialist to help grow our team. The ideal candidate will understand fixed asset listings and have the ability to create valuation models. As a leader in the valuation practice, you will leverage your expertise to perform and manage fixed asset projects with clients across the nation, build a team, expand your knowledge, and cultivate relationships within the firm and with clients. Further, you will have meaningful support from firm leadership for substantial professional development and career growth.

How you will contribute:

Assisting clients in the understanding of the valuation of fixed assets in the context of mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax, and regulatory reporting, restructuring, and management planning.Designing valuation project scopes, managing day-to-day activities of the project team, and taking responsibility for overall quality control of client deliverables.Assisting audit teams with reviewing and testing fair value estimates.Managing client relationships.Delegating work to staff according to their experience and capabilities.Reviewing the work of staff, providing mentoring and performance reviews.Developing business by expanding existing relationships with clients, maintaining personal networks, and participating in civic, business, and professional organizations.We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:

Extensive analytical and project management skills, including the ability to meet target dates in a fast-paced environment.Excellent modeling skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to develop and manage team members.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.5 years or more of personal property / fixed asset / M&E valuation-related experience, specifically experience with tangible assets, appraisals, property valuation, and inventory management.Preparing and reviewing valuations for financial and tax reporting purposes.Strong proficiency with relevant fixed asset-related data and reference sources.Preferred Qualifications:

Valuation credentials, or pursuit of such credentials, a plus (i.e. ASA).
