Job Description

First impressions are everything! Your engaging smile and personality are the essence of a great Front Desk Agent with Fairmont San Francisco. As you personally greet our Guests and assist them throughout the day, you will be empowered to deliver on our mission of "Turning moments into memories for our guests".

What is in it for you:Reporting to the Rooms Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceGreet, check in and settle guest accounts while ensuring all service standards are followedAssist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful wayFollow department policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety policiesOther duties as assignedYour experience and skills include:

Proficient in the English language (verbal & written), second language is an assetMust be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environmentAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPrevious customer related experience an assetPrevious PMS experience an assetComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications an assetMust be able to type 25 words per minuteMust possess a professional presentationStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAnswering guest calls, emails, and messagesEnrolling new members in Accors ALL loyalty programUpselling guests into higher room categoriesAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a teamHospitality Diploma is an assetMust be flexible in terms of working hoursMust have the ability to handle cash effectively and accuratelyHourly Rate: $32.06 USD Gross per hourPhysical Aspects of Position:

Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:Frequent standing and walking throughout shiftOccasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
