DescriptionDirect & manage the accounts payable staff to provide accurate & timely processing of vendor disbursements.
Principal Accountabilities:Management of staff includes hiring, training, assigning & reviewing work of staff.Prepares and oversees the department or unit's budget.Maintain internal controls & procedures to protect CME's assets & determine new controls or procedures that address the growth of CME.Interact regularly with management as well as other departments.Responsible for assimilation of accounts payable metrics, approval of journal entries, account reconciliations & month-end close.
Skills and Software Requirements:Experience managing or leading a team.Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Workday experience is a plus.Experience working in a team environment.Strong decision-making skills.
