Full-Time Overview

As the NDE Technical Manager working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will assist the Navy Modernization, Planning and Sustainability Division, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), which is responsible for providing the Fleet and modernization stakeholders with modernization policies; Ship Change Document (SCD) processes and approvals; Navy Data Environment (NDE) and user-training; Fleet Risk Assessments; Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, and Intelligence (C5I) Baselines; Information Technology (IT) business tools; metrics performance; and customized reports. The team will support all areas of NAVSEA Modernization Support the updates and adherence to the Navy Modernization Program Modernization and Operations Manual (NMP-MOM). This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer. Lead team providing end to end lifecycle support to NDE software to include routine maintenance, technology insertion, trouble call resolution. Develop, track, and report metrics consistent with SW management and improvement. Manage software change implementation. Provide software design support. Provide customer support for all NDE Modules. Manage helpdesk support. Qualifications

Bachelor degree in computer systems, information technology or equivalent. 10 or more years of experience with ship change documents and Navy Data Environment (modules, navigation, dependencies). 5 or more years of experience in software maintenance including requirements mapping and design. Experience in .Net landscaping and modules data fields, formatting and process flows. Experience in functional requirements development and data mapping as well as software design. Experience with other shipboard programs interfaces (e.g. organizational maintenance management system, next generation-OMMS-NG). Experience with MS suite. Experience with software development and life cycle maintenance to include, development and alignment of software functionality, system improvements, cost analysis/estimating and POA&M development. Lead and contribute to design reviews to include stakeholder management. Active Secret clearance.
