LHH is partnering with a prestigious nonprofit organization in the Washington, DC area to find an Executive Assistant to support their Executive Vice President (EVP) of Marketing and Communications. This key role will provide high-level administrative support, including managing scheduling, coordinating meetings, and ensuring optimal use of the EVP’s time. The Executive Assistant will be instrumental in facilitating communication and aligning the EVP’s schedule with organizational priorities. This is a temporary position and has the potential for conversion to a permanent role. The hourly pay rate is between $28-$33, and the salary range upon conversion to a permanent position is $75,000-$90,000. The role offers a hybrid work schedule with four days onsite and one remote.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain the EVP’s calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and events to maximize efficiency.Coordinate both domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and materials, ensuring timely distribution and effective communication with attendees.Act as a liaison between the EVP and internal/external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and board members.Handle incoming communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail, ensuring appropriate responses or escalation.Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents on behalf of the EVP.Conduct research and compile data to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.Assist with special projects and initiatives as directed by the EVP, providing comprehensive administrative support.Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information and documents.Qualifications:Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role, preferably supporting senior executives.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.Proficiency in calendar management software and the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.Prior experience in a nonprofit organization is advantageous.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
