Primary Purpose
Offer guidance and legal advice on all facets of the company's Ethics & Compliance Helpline investigations, under the supervision of the Director and Managing Attorney for Ethics & Investigations. Advise and support internal investigators and stakeholders during investigations. Oversee external counsel tasked with conducting investigations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides end-to-end advice and counsel to investigators, human resources, and labor relations groups on the company's Ethics & Compliance Helpline investigations.
Reviews and provides advice and counsel on investigation reports
Assists in planning, development, and delivery of training to teams of investigators across the family of companies
Collaborates with other investigations teams within the Sempra family of companies on investigation support, Helpline trends, and program improvements
Conducts complex internal investigations.
Assists in the administration of the company's Ethics & Compliance Helpline.
Assists in the preparation of presentations and updates on the company's Ethics & Compliance Helpline to leadership.
Performs other duties as assigned.
