Business Development Manager, Foundation Medicine (RFM)

leads the adoption of new business models and high medical value solutions within the Australian market to assist in achievement of Roche Diagnostics Australia (RDA)’s overall vision and goals. As a Business Development Manager, you will contribute to RDA Business Development strategy, objectives, key results and enabling activities with the view of enabling sustainable establishment of new products and services supporting better patient outcomes, clinician benefit and health system benefit.Key Responsibilities:In this role, you will be responsible for providing an effective overall vision for the emerging portfolio of Roche Comprehensive Genomic Profiling and RFM solutions and fit within customer’s ecosystems. Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Creating and owning the assessment and go-to-market plans for new solutions, enhancements and new market segments/commercial modelsDriving sales enablement, editorial awareness and marketing strategies to drive growth and retentionForming close working relationships across RDA to support in-market activities of new solutionsRepresenting the company externally and establishing strong KOL and stakeholder relationships along with partnerships with industry associations, interest groupsWorking as part of a high performing, accountable and collaborative team to drive access and innovation within the Australian marketWho you are:You have:University degree in marketing, business, science, or healthcare or equivalentHigh levels of

sales and business development

proficiency and 5+ years industry specific experienceExtensive market knowledge coupled with an entrepreneurial flair, curiosity, resilience and tenacityUnderstanding of Cancer

and Patient management would be an advantageDemonstrated scientific knowledge and understanding of

molecular diagnostics

with sound knowledge of

Comprehensive Genomic ProfilingEstablished experience selling of high medical value diagnostics assays, focussed on oncology, to clinicians, pathologist and biopharmaceutical partnersHigh computer literacy and technical abilityAs a results-driven professional, you have:Demonstrated continuous learning orientation, particularly around new applications, medical developments and healthcare industry standardsDemonstrated ability to work as part of a high performing professional team, built on strong peer relationships and shared achievementOutstanding communication, documentation and facilitation skills, capable of conducting detailed discussions with clinical and lab professionalsA growth mindset with the ability to think and plan strategicallyA high level of commercial acumen, demonstrated experience of the implementation of innovative commercial models would be an advantageThis
