This position performs non-technical drafting support for assigned projects using computer aided drafting (CAD) software.General Responsibilities:Creates CAD drawings for engineering projectsCreates and modifies maps for special assignmentsCreates plan and profile sheets plus CAD file exhibitsCompletes redline markupsPerforms work as assigned from sketches, verbal instructions, and notesEstablishes and maintains schedules and offers progress reportsMaintains current knowledge of design and drafting procedures in a specialty fieldOther assigned duties as requiredRequired Education/Licenses:Minimum of high school or technical school training with courses in computer-aided drafting or equivalent experienceRequired Experience:0-2 years’ experience in AutoCAD Civil 3DEffective communication skills both oral and writtenEffective interpersonal skills with coworkersMust be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needs
