Data Scientist II

to work on our client's site in

San Diego, CA.The Data Scientist II is responsible for analyzing large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. This role involves developing and implementing machine learning models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, experience with various data processing and analysis tools, and the ability to contribute to the optimization of data processing pipelines.Job Responsibilities

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.Develop and implement machine learning models to solve complex business problems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and improve model performance.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data science.Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Contribute to the development and optimization of data processing pipelines.Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 YearlyJob Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.3+ years of professional experience in data science.Experience with software integration or testing, including analyzing and implementing test plans and scripts.Proficiency in frequent scripting languages such as Python and R, and using packages commonly used in data science applications or advanced analytics.Experience in data science, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms to support analytics objectives.Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, API building, ETL pipelines, web application servers, or search index.Experience using programming languages and products such as Python, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, Numpy, Requests, or Antigravity.Ability to apply complex mathematical and statistical concepts.Experience with statistical and operations research methods and tools.Proficiency in employing spreadsheets for data manipulation and visualization.Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Cloud Essentials, Microsoft Technical Associate (MTA), Certification of Cloud Security (CCSK), CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, EMC Data Science Associate (EMCDSA), Cloudera Certified Data Scientist (CCDH), Certified Apache Hadoop Developer (HCAHD), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Professional (CCP), Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD), Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE), Private Cloud, Certified Administrator for Apache Hadoop (CCAH).Must Have
