The Henry & Rilla White Youth Foundation, a non-profit human services organization, is seeking a masters-level counselor to work in the Tallahassee, FL area serving DJJ Circuit 2. The Program will include screening, evaluating, treating, and case management of youth referred by the Department of Juvenile Justices. The position will begin as a part-time contracted employee. Willingness to work in other areas could increase the positions available working hours.
ResponsibilitiesScreening and evaluating youth referred by the Department of Juvenile Justice.Treating and managing cases of youth.Participating in comprehensive initial and ongoing training in Trauma Focus-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).Engaging in weekly clinical supervision with a licensed supervisor.Consulting with a TF-CBT expert for a minimum of 6 months.
QUALIFICATIONSQualifications include: Masters Degree from an accredited college or University in counseling, social work, psychology, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy or related field. Training and experience in cognitive-Behavioral therapy, structural family therapy, and other behaviorally-based treatments are preferred (but not required).
