Job Summary
IFF Health and Biosciences offers summer internships to give students hands-on experience conducting world-class biotechnology applications in an industrial enzyme manufacturing environment.
As an IFF Process Engineering intern, you'll make a measurable contribution to several projects while working with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, managers, and technicians. You will gain practical experience using real-world applications in our biotechnology manufacturing plant.
Your intern project may involve:Pilot scale testing and data analysis for large scale process improvementsAnalysis of process data to support process changesImplementation of new raw materials & material and energy optimizationEquipment design and costing for small scale capital projectsInterns at IFF Health and Biosciences receive a competitive hourly wage and provide their own transportation and housing during the 12-week summer internship program.
Qualified Candidates will exhibit the following characteristics:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Biological Systems EngineeringPreferably at least a sophomore in an undergraduate bachelor's degree programHigh level of initiative and the ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative team environmentMicrosoft Office experience - especially Microsoft ExcelStrong interpersonal and communication skillsMinimum 3.0 GPA preferredAvailable to complete the entire assignmentHave the right to work in the U.S. without restriction
