Job DescriptionThis is a customer-facing role and requires daily travel to provider locations. The ideal candidate should live in/near Washington, DC, Reston, Ashburn, Leesburg, Winchester, or Sterling, VA.Myriad Women’s Health is looking for an Account Executive who is passionate about improving the lives of patients through precision medicine.

As an Account Executive (AE), you will sell the Myriad Women’s Health portfolio of molecular genetic tests to obstetricians, gynecologists, and other healthcare providers in your assigned territory in addition to providing education on Myriad science, research, and precision medicine. Myriad Women’s Health tests can be used to guide personalized medical management decisions and improve patient outcomes.Responsibilities

Selling the physician on the value of different molecular diagnostic tests and interpretationProviding In-Service training to office staffWorking with local phlebotomy providers to streamline specimen acquisitionDelivering local talks and arranging peer to peer programs to groups that want to learn moreCoordinating with local health plans that are most relevant to these practicesMust meet expense budget and administrative requirementsUtilize Territory Planning Tools for strategy and planning including target accounts, frequency of calls, etc.Must update Salesforce (CRM) to track targeting, frequency, messaging and strategic/tactical informationAttend regional meetings and Women's Health conferences as plannedQualifications

BS/BA degree required ideally in a related field of study3+ years in the health care selling arena of women's health bio-pharma, molecular and/or blood test diagnostics or capital equipmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDocumented successful track record in sales; history of being a top-level performer in prior rolesProven ability to manage ever-increasing responsibility and sustain growthIn-depth product knowledge and knowledge of disease states in current field of expertiseAbility to travel and do overnights as neededModels the “consultative sales” approach; recognized by others for excellent selling and presentation skillsEffective at overcoming obstacles and challenges utilizing problem solving skillsStrong knowledge and understanding of coverage and reimbursement issuesWorking knowledge and application of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics surrounding patient privacy and informationDemonstrates values and ethics that support Myriad's mission, goals, and professional code of conductAbility to resist pressure to compromise corporate values despite pressure to make salesUses discretion and professionalism as it relates to handling patient and physician information and documentationTrack record of demonstrating integrity, even when inconvenientMust be flexible, innovative, and self-motivatedSystems and Software - proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word and CRM, preferably SalesforceValid driver's license and driving record that meets safe and satisfactory criteria per Myriad's motor vehicle driving record policyAbout Us
