Responsibilities
The Program Coordinator supports the Haas Office of Sustainability and Climate Change with program delivery, event organization, communications, and logistics.
It provides administrative support to a team that collaborates with faculty to expand research in sustainability topics and supports existing sustainability-focused centers and initiatives.
Coordinates large, complex conferences/meetings/programs including sustainability focused speaker events and the Michaels Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Business.
Works with the Office of Sustainability and Climate Change team to update/review/revise the Sustainability at Haas website.
Prepares written materials for the Office of Sustainability and Climate Change team.
Assists on researching, compiling, and preparing funding and grant proposals.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Experience developing written content and designing communication materials.
Proficient in coordinating event logistics.
Able to track project processes including timelines, deadlines and outputs.
Demonstrated ability in building and populating complex databases.
Excellent interpersonal skills, promoting diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
Exemplifies Haas' four Defining Leadership Principles.
Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated interest in sustainability subject matter issues.
Experience researching and analyzing academic and industry content.
Salary & Benefits
This is a 100% full-time (40 hrs a week) non-exempt career position, which is paid hourly and eligible for UC Benefits.
The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $29.63 (Step 1) - $34.74 (Step 8).
