We are hiring a Senior Project Engineer to work out of our Walnut Creek, Pleasanton, or Sacramento Offices!BKF Engineers has an immediate need for
senior-level civil engineers
with strong technical abilities and experience in Land Development projects across a multitude of disciplines. We are looking for individuals who can independently apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using their experience and judgment. Ability to plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate all technical work for small to major projects. Provide input to the Project Managers in preparing current project status for informing clients on progress and internal reporting. Supervise/coordinate and support the Team of Engineers, Drafters, Technicians, and others who assist in specific tasks. Assist in Quality Control on your projects. AutoCAD and Civil 3D mastery required.Responsibilities:
Project Design for Site DevelopmentGrading and Drainage PlansUtility Systems for Water and SewerReport Preparation and Master Planning Studies, preparation of specifications and cost estimatesProject Management Assistance: Budgeting, Schedules, Client Care, InvoicingDesign Team collaboration and supportRoadway/Streets final design package - Plan, Profile, Cross SectionsRoadway Design: Streetscape, Green Streets, Bicycle Path PlansKnowledge of Federal, State, City and County StandardsReport Preparation and Conceptual StudiesPreparation of Specifications and Quantity Takeoffs/Cost EstimatesQualifications:
6+ years
of experience in site development, design of residential and/or commercial subdivisions, utility systems, roadways, and public works.B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET Accredited Curriculum or equivalent required.Professional Engineering license in the State of Oregon or California is highly preferred.AutoCAD and Civil 3D mastery required.Benefits:

The typical base salary range for this position is $113,800 - $144,100 annualized depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. This is an hourly position paid biweekly.Workplace Awards:
